Rahul Singh
Rahul is a dedicated social worker and Co-founder of Project ALT (Access to Legal Aid Through Tech). It’s an initiative ensuring access to justice for marginalised prisoners and their families through legal awareness, counselling, and pro bono representation. Under his leadership, ALT has collaborated with iProbono, Neev Foundation, and other partner law firms reaching over 2,000 individuals, assisting 300+ people, and updating 800+ cases through its tech-based legal-aid platform. The platform aims to connect people easily with lawyers, track case updates, and make legal information more accessible.
Rahul is also a Vriksh Fellow and conducts legal-literacy sessions inside prisons and outreach outside Tihar Jail. Earlier, he served as a Fellow with Project Unlearn (focusing on gender awareness and social inclusion), a Fellow with Project Second Chance (promoting legal & rehabilitation support), and a Volunteer with Tycia Foundation during the COVID crisis. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work from IGNOU, Rahul continues striving to make justice simple, accessible, and human-centred.
